This week during shared reading, we've been learning all about fiction vs. non-fiction!  We've also focused on caterpillars and butterflies!  Each day we read both a fiction and non-fiction book on butterflies!  We completed a smartboard chart...
We also made our very own butterfly life cycles...

And last, but not least, we received our caterpillars this week!  It has been so much fun watching them grow bigger and BIGGER over the past 4 days!  We cannot wait to see what they look like on Monday, when we return!

Have a wonderful three-day weekend! :)

The ABC Days of Kindergarten!!!!

In honor of our last 26 days of kindergarten, we are going to celebrate with an alphabet inspired activity each day!  You can see the plan below...

Yesterday (Thursday) was our first day:  A DAY!  We brought our favorite stuffed "A"nimals  to school!

Today was B day:  "B"ig Hill Day!  We played on the hill for recess!

Not everyone was in the picture, we had three friends absent, and a few friends in small group!  I think it turned out so cute, once everyone is back we will go back to take another! :)

Happy ABC Days!
