T and U (in our ABC days)...

Yesterday was "T" Take a trip to 1st grade day!  We had a wonderful field trip.  Since we have 6 elementary schools, each teacher in the pod (with the addition of Mrs. Oakes) took all of the friends from the pod to one school.  I didn't want to take pictures of my Yarbrough friends because I knew I couldn't get pictures of all of the other schools! 

Today was "U" unusual item day!  We had some GREAT things brought in!  Check them out...

Madeline brought in her dad's green beetle with black spots!

Pierce brought in a "dinosaur" bone he found in Selma! 

Olivia brought in her magical flying and talking bear!

Cooper and Brenden both brought in Costa Rican coins!

Ally brought in a special scratch and sniff sticker.

Dillian brought in a pencil that you never sharpen!

Andy brought an actual Hawaiian book!

Angel brought in a weight you exercise with!

Amelia brought in a book about "Weird but True" things!

Rosie brought in a unicorn!
