The After-Christmas Tree

On Tuesday we read The After-Christmas Tree by Linda Wagner Tyler.  It is a sweet book about taking your old Christmas tree, decorating it with edible items, and setting it outside for the critters!
We took pinecones, covered them in peanut butter, and rolled them in birdseed!

When we were all finished we took them outside to hang them!

Happy Friday!

Martin Luther King Jr. Part II

We've spent a good part of our week learning all we can about Dr. King!  Last year I stumbled upon the best Martin Luther King book I've seen!  We have read and re-read the book sevearl times, it's become an old favorite!

We even learned a song honoring Dr. King and performed it in music!  We hope you enjoy!  Thank you Mrs. H for videoing and sharing it with us! :)

Have a wonderful Thursday!

Welcome Back!

I am so excited to be back with all of my sweet babies!  I missed them so much!  Today we spent some time revisiting our rules and good choices!  We made a list of things we should be doing during center time!  Here are a few fun pictures of centers today!
Olivia and Rosie creating art.

Charlesha, Pierce, Brenden and Cooper eating snack.

Nathan and Angel at the Activity Table.

Abby in writing.

Marcus and Zehra at computers.

Amelia, Ally and Madeline in Home Living.

Liberty is choosing a new center.

Levi and Quin building with blocks.

We also created a new type of graph to answer the question "Did you play in the snow?"

Have a wonderful afternoon!
