New Blog Design! :)

I am just a tad bit excited about my new blog design! :)  My husband and I have probably worked 12 hours on it all together!  Sorry for any visitors who dropped by and saw 1/2 of the old and 1/2 of the new! :)

More exciting news!! :)

I hope you are all having a great summer!  I have been spending my time playing with my two babies and relaxing!  Last week the "school bug" bit me!  I can usually get a good 3 weeks of summer before it starts! :)

Yesterday I received another exciting email about the blog being nominated for another award!  I am ecstatic!  Thank you to whoever nominated me!  This award is given by Really Good Stuff and if you know me at all, you know that 90% of my classroom comes from them!  And if you win you get a $75.00 gift certificate!  YAY!

Exciting News...

Yesterday I found out that there is a list of the 50 most fascinating blogs written by kindergarten teachers and I am on it!  How neat is that!!!!!  

I am extremely honored and so excited!!

A very special book...

Today I received the most precious book ever!!!!!  Sweet Madeline made this and I had to share...

Parent Appreciation Breakfast!

This morning we had our "Parent Appreciation Breakfast!"  We were able to have breakfast together and watch a movie I created about our kindergarten year!  I hope that each of you know how much I appreciate all you've done to make this year fantastic!  We (me and the kids) could not have done it without you! :)  I hope you enjoy your souvenir DVD for many years to come!!!!

T and U (in our ABC days)...

Yesterday was "T" Take a trip to 1st grade day!  We had a wonderful field trip.  Since we have 6 elementary schools, each teacher in the pod (with the addition of Mrs. Oakes) took all of the friends from the pod to one school.  I didn't want to take pictures of my Yarbrough friends because I knew I couldn't get pictures of all of the other schools! 

Today was "U" unusual item day!  We had some GREAT things brought in!  Check them out...
