Last week and part of this week, we've been learning all about pumpkins! We have completed a Jack-O-Lantern glyph, measured our pumpkins, completed sink and float activities, measured each other using numbered pumpkins, decorated baby pumpkins and carved a class pumpkin! Here is a picture adventure...

We filled out a Pumpkin Investigation sheet for our math journals and here are a few pictures of us investigating!
Grace measured how tall our pumpkin was using unifix cubes.
We tested sink/float!
We even used some baby pumpkins!
Both times the kids were convinced they would sink! Even after the big pumpkin floated! :)
We also counted the seeds our pumpkin and carved our Jack-O-Lantern...
