Welcome Back!

Welcome back!!!  I hope each of you had a MARVELOUS spring break!  The kids were so ready to be back on Monday!  We are all refreshed and ready to learn!  As you know, this week Miss Craig, our AU intern, begins her full-time teaching.  For the first 10 days, I am still in the room, but for the last 10 days, I will be in the pod.

This week Miss Craig began our Eric Carle author study.  One of my favorites!  Here are a few pictures of their books and activities thus far!

We started the week off by reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear.

We continued with A House for Hermit Crab and Pancakes, Pancakes!

We also read The Grouchy Ladybug and learned about clocks/telling time.  Each child got to make their very own ladybug clock (it will be in their Friday folder this week)!

Several members of our class were in small group computer lab! 

But those of us who were here, had a great time listening to the story and changing the time on our clocks!

We are going to continue our Eric Carle author study for the next 2-3 weeks!  More pictures to come!  I will leave you with one last photo of my favorite E.C. character!
